Recently we changed our egg supplier. Ramelton Free Range Eggs run by Ian and Annette Smith were facing a big decision... upgrade their packaging facility to meet new government regulations or go out of business. The new regulations require all egg producers to stamp their eggs with the date of packaging and the suppliers name on each egg. This is bureaucracy gone a little mad. We wish Ian and Annette all the best in their retirement.
We now have eggs from Free Range King Valley Eggs run by Neil and Amanda Beach. Their little chooks have started laying about six weeks ago and are now popping out great poaching eggs. The eggs are also making amazing Creme Patisserie for our French vanilla slice!
